Writing complete sentences is a challenge when you've only been walking the face of the earth for 7-8 years! I model tons of writing in my class. Occasionally we get out the markers, we love markers, and with five different colors we underline five complete sentences.
This gives kids a great visual of the beginning and the end of a sentence. They look for capitals and ending marks. I had one student that had one color...the Aha moment!
Easy to do...great visual...no worksheets! This is also easy to take a grade on.
